An exchange of experiences from Latin America, the DRC and Europe to support the reconciliation process in the DR Congo

Fueled by scientific literature, but above all by exchanges of experiences in Latin America, Europe and DR Congo, the file offers a common reflection on impunity and the means to be implemented to fight against it.

It highlights and links together the key stages of a process of fight against impunity which are: the establishment of the truth, justice, the work of memory and the question of forgiveness, while placing them in the broader context of national reconciliation towards which the DR Congo is directing its actions on the ground.

Intended to be a document supporting the work of Congolese civil society, the file anchors the conceptual analysis in concrete examples experienced in other countries which have also led this struggle.
