The Justice and Peace Commission relies on a vast network of partners in Belgium and abroad in order to carry out its work of analysis, political advocacy and awareness-raising on Human Rights and social justice issues. .

With a Christian identity, Justice and Peace advocates openness and a pluralistic spirit which leads it to collaborate with partners from various sectors of society. The fight for Human Rights is universal, it is therefore essential to know how to surround yourself with the right partners in order to achieve the progress necessary for just and united human societies. Here are our partners:

Cidse

There Cidse is an international alliance of Catholic development agencies. Its members strive to eradicate poverty and establish justice in the world according to a common strategy. CIDSE's advocacy concerns global governance, development resources, climate change, trade and food security, EU development policies, business and human rights.

Cifca

There Cifca (Copenhagen Initiative for Central America and Mexico) is a European network made up of 37 non-governmental development and human rights organizations, solidarity committees, independent research institutes, advocacy networks and individuals individual. The general objective of Cifca is to promote the transformation of European policies with Central America and Mexico so that human rights are respected and protected within the framework of political dialogue, development cooperation, trade and investments .

Conference of European Justice and Peace Commissions

The Conference of European Justice and Peace Commissions (Justice and Peace Europe) was founded in 1971 by 11 national Justice and Peace commissions – Belgium (Fr), Germany, England & Wales, France, Ireland, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland and Spain. It was born out of the conviction that to cooperate will achieve more to further development, justice and peace than to work only as individual commissions. Today Justice and Peace Europe has grown to a network of 31 national Justice and Peace Commissions. More information

ACEAC Justice and Peace Commission

In Central Africa, we work with the Justice and Peace Commission ACEAC (Association of Episcopal Conferences of Central Africa).

Congo Justice and Peace Commission

More particularly in the DRC, the CEJP (Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace) is carrying out work to raise awareness and mobilize citizens for a return to peace and the democratization of the country. It is present at different levels: national, provincial, diocesan and parish.

Mutual Aid and Fraternity / Living Together

Regular collaboration on political advocacy activities directed towards our Belgian political representatives takes place with Mutual Aid and Fraternity.

EurAC

Justice and Peace is a member of this European Network for Central Africa, whose mission is threefold: advocacy, information and consultation between members. This network, based in Brussels, develops political advocacy especially with European authorities but also, with members of its network, with the governments and parliaments of European countries active in Central Africa.

Fatal Transactions

Since 2011, CJP has been a member of this international network of NGOs dedicated to the transformation of trade between the North and the South, so that Africa's natural wealth, whether in gold, diamonds, oil or copper, become an engine of development and stability instead of a source of conflict. Fatal Transactions collects information, organizes events and researches the links between conflict and human rights violations and resource extraction. This network acts as a safeguard vis-à-vis governments, companies and international institutes and lobbies for strong corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the extractive sector.

Namur International Francophone Film Festival (FIFF)

The Justice and Peace Commission participates in the coordination of the “Human Rights” animation system of the festival and the 20 associations and NGOs which participate. THE FIFF takes place every year during the first week of October.

Nature and Progress

Participation in the Valériane show organized by Nature and Progress every first weekend of September. Justice and Peace ensures its presence through events as well as conferences on the theme of respect for Human Rights and the environment.

Pax Christi Wallonia-Brussels

Constant collaboration on issues of active non-violence. The Justice and Peace Commission also shares its offices on rue Liétart in Brussels with Pax Christi, which ensures a permanent exchange.

French-speaking Christian Radio (RCF)

Justice and Peace regularly brings a point of view on Human Rights to programs produced by RCF Brussels and RCF Namur. Often linked to current events, the programs offered can be listened to again on the RCF website.

RODHECIC

The Network of Christian-Inspired Human Rights and Civic Education Organizations is made up of more than 50 human rights and civic education organizations in Congo. It ensures a permanent exchange of information between its member organizations and thus contributes to the strengthening of civil society.

General Secretariat of Catholic Education (SeGEC)

The Justice and Peace Commission provides training on human rights and social justice issues for upper secondary school teachers as part of the training institute CECAFOC. CJP Europe
