Millennium Development Goals: beyond the speeches, a cruel lack of political will and coherence!

From September 20 to 22, as a preamble to the United Nations General Assembly, the summit on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) was held in New York, which aim to reduce poverty and hunger in the world. This summit was an opportunity to take stock of the results obtained, just five years from the end of the deadline, for each of the eight anti-poverty objectives formulated in 2000. The observation is that the objectives will not be fulfilled by to 2015.
