Solar panels, wind turbines, electric cars, connected objects, Internet... The technological promises to respond to ecological challenges seem numerous. However, on a global scale, CO2 emissions continue to increase and ecosystems to degrade. Also, the growth of “High tech” encourages the industrial exploitation of mining resources, an activity responsible for major social and environmental disasters around the world.
What to do ? What technologies could guarantee respect for human rights and the protection of nature? More than just technical objects, “low tech” offers new perspectives for Transition.
