What if we dared to have peace? Pacifism in Belgium from yesterday to today

Justice and Peace, Pax Christi and the Avec Center are organizing a visit to the exhibition “And if we dared to peace” on February 20 in Liège. Anyone interested is invited to register by February 10.

Tributes are regularly paid to the Belgians who shed their blood during the war. But who remembers those who fought for peace? How many remember that Belgium has four Nobel Peace Prize winners? That Belgian pacifists largely contributed to the creation of international institutions aimed at preventing conflicts?

  • Date and place : Saturday February 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. (Liège, City of the Mirror)
  • Admission price : 5 euros
  • Mandatory reservation for February 10 (form below)
  • Transportation : A departure from Brussels can be organized.
  • Meal : A friendly meal in town will be offered after the visit at 1 p.m....just to exchange our impressions!
