The founding of the European Union (1951) brought within it peace, stability, prosperity and freedoms. A victory in the history of the old continent.
But as far as his view of the world and vis-à-vis third States is concerned, his message, his application and his involvement seem below the expectations of many Democrats: too fragmented, too divided, too hesitant, too late, too compromising?
During this evening, we will evaluate European peace policies, concrete achievements – in light of the war in Ukraine – and the prospects for convergence within the EU, and for EU leadership in the world.
