Citizen training – Understanding international conflicts

International conflicts are complex and, in the current flow of information, it is sometimes difficult to carry out an “objective” analysis. This training aims to provide reading keys to decipher conflicts and compare different points of view regarding them.

Content of citizen training

This one-day training addresses the issue of conflict starting from complex geopolitical concepts, illuminated by concrete applications, thus allowing better appropriation. It also offers tools and procedures conflict analysis, and invites participants to concretely apply these theoretical tools and concepts through the analysis of a specific conflict: the war in Ukraine.

Conduct of the “Understanding Conflict” training

Alternating participatory presentations and workshops, this training is intended to be interactive to allow exchanges between participants and build collective reflection on the different ways of approaching an international conflict with young people or with those around you in order to to awaken their civic and solidarity awareness. To move in this direction, it offers easy-to-use educational approaches and tools.

Who is this training intended for?

This one is intended to citizens hungry for serious information on this subject. This training is also intended for upper secondary teachers, particularly suitable for geography and human sciences classes and for people in charge of activities who wish to develop the issue of international conflicts with students or young people.

Why take this training?

International conflicts are regularly at the heart of the news for the simple reason that they concern us all. These are the basis of broad societal issues (migration, human rights, economy, etc.). In one day, you will have a global and objective view of these complex geopolitical issues.

Price: 17,5€ – 10€ for students, unemployed, retired people
