3 impactful educational tools

“We are here to study and to work! We are not here to profit. Freedom and papers for all”! This is the vibrant appeal to Belgian society launched by Rabia, a young undocumented man, alongside the 40 young people who present to you a video, A magazine and one educational notebook .

so here's three tools educational complementary, which can also be used independently. They will be useful for anyone who wishes to be informed, raise awareness among young people and take action around the issue of migration. For you, young, older, teacher or facilitator, activist, political leader, or you who simply want to understand the world around you and take action.

VIDEO

In this video, young people recall the causes of migration: conflicts, economic insecurity, or even dreams of a better life. Drawing on the testimonies of young migrants and the principle of respect for human rights, they offer their ideas concerning the responsibilities of reception, climate refugees, the deconstruction of stereotypes, undocumented immigrants. These courses of action respond constructively to current challenges regarding migration. This tool can be the starting point for a debate that concerns us all!

EDUCATIONAL NOTEBOOK

This notebook presents factual data on migrations in the world and in Belgium. Definitions and figures, as well as the history of the current deterioration of reception conditions for migrants in Belgium, will allow you to go further and objectify the problem. Do you want to take action? There are also numerous recommendations for individual, collective and political actions.

THE MAGAZINE

Finally, the magazine produced by young people of all origins, Belgians and young migrants, brings together slam texts, testimonies, analyzes which can also be good tools to escape simplistic speeches, withdrawal into oneself and the feeling of helplessness and build a critical and civic approach.
