Volunteering is at the heart of the continuing education project at Justice and Peace. We offer different spaces for the exchange of ideas and solidarity commitment for anyone wishing to act in favor of the common good.

Why get involved with Justice & Peace?

Nombreuses sont les injustices qui nous révoltent en tant que citoyen·nes. En matière de démocratie, de conflits, de précarité socioéconomique, de migration ou d’environnement, les raisons de s’indigner sont inombrables. What to do ? How to move from indignation to action? Quels moyens s’offrent à nous pour peser sur le réel et devenir acteur·rice de changement ?

Justice & Paix m'a offert un véritable cadre d'échange et de partage des réflexions personnelles sur des questions de société accrochées à l'actualité, ce qui a davantage contribué à nourrir mon engagement. J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'importance qu'elle accorde à valoriser ses volontaires, que ce soit en son sein ou en dehors. Entre développement personnel, ambiance collaborative et contributions intellectuelles, cette expérience de volontariat reste pour moi l’une des plus enrichissantes.

La participation citoyenne est au cœur de notre fonctionnement, et une condition essentielle de la démocratie. Joining the Justice & Peace team of volunteers is a great way to get involved, with us, for peace and social & environmental justice.

Vous avez + de 18 ans et résidez en Belgique ? Les possibilités de volontariat sont nombreuses ! trouvez celle en adéquation avec vos compétences, vos loisirs, votre temps et vos envies.

In working groups

Les objectifs des groupes de travail peuvent être très diversifiés : rédaction de textes, d’études, supervision d’outils pédagogiques, plaidoyer citoyen, organisation d’une conférence, d’une projection de film, d’un procès fictif, réalisation d’un podcast, diffusion de nos productions, etc.

In regional commissions

The regional commissions meet in Wavre, Namur and Liège. Their actions and meetings focus on themes as varied as the fight against precariousness, the situation in the DR Congo, the problem of housing and the challenges of migration... and nothing prevents them from infusing new ideas.

With our administrative and financial center

Vous pouvez devenir volontaire administratif·ve afin d’appuyer la gestion quotidienne de l’association et appuyer aux relectures d’études, d’analyses et d’outils pédagogiques passionnants ! Selon vos disponibilités, vous pouvez apporter vos compétences une ou plusieurs fois par semaine ou par mois.

In institutional bodies

General Assembly

Update or definition of thematic orientations, positions and fundamental options, approval of budgets and accounts, appointment of board members, etc. The general assembly is made up of representatives from the development education and continuing education sectors and partners.

Board of Directors

He is responsible for implementing the association's institutional strategy and applies the guidelines defined by the General Assembly.

In the editorial committee of Pour Parler de Paix

Write articles, portraits or views on current events in our quarterly magazine by joining the editorial committee of Pour Parler de Paix. The opportunity to look into many current issues and learn more about causes that affect us all!

By becoming a one-off volunteer

Give us a helping hand by becoming a one-off volunteer when organizing events, running a stand at festivals, etc.
