DR Congo – Kasaï: the forgotten crisis

During the summer of 2016, Greater Kasai became the scene of a conflict of unprecedented violence in the region. Although the origins and developments of the conflict have since been identified, documented and analyzed, the consequences continue to weigh on the population amid widespread indifference. This is why Justice and Peace Belgium, in collaboration with its partners in the field, wanted to take stock of the challenges facing today in the region almost two years after the start of hostilities.
