Training for teachers: Link between violence and religion

Justice and Peace, in collaboration with the CECAFOC (Catholic Career Training Center), organizes training for teachers of religion courses working in the free network.

Current events show us that it is increasingly fundamental to address the link between violence and religion in class. The training addresses this question from three different and complementary angles of approach: media, biblical and anthropological. It provides for the experimentation of educational techniques to address conflicts linked to belief differences, to facilitate dialogue and mutual encounter, while deconstructing everyone's stereotypes. In other words, to highlight the richness of a multicultural classroom.

By alternating presentations and participatory workshops, this training therefore aims to provide both content and appropriation of the reading keys and educational tools offered.
