Blood in the mobile

Director Frank Poulsen, in his documentary “Blood in the Mobile”, shows us his investigation into the field of blood minerals.

Columbo-tantalite, known as coltan, is a mineral widely used in the manufacture of many electronic devices, notably our mobile phones and smartphones. Its extraction and trade are linked to one of the deadliest conflicts since the Second World War, in the east of the DR Congo. 2016-03-16_cine_debat_blood_in_the_mobile.pdf
