Living undocumented means being excluded from most rights. It is living in a situation of constant social precariousness. It means having to accept any working conditions for any salary. It's putting your life on hold, without being able to settle down, project yourself, be part of society. It's living without living, being there without being there. It is living in fear of encountering the police, even when you have not committed any offense, and even when you yourself are the victim of abuse. It is to be the subject of incredible violence. However, we cannot build a just society on the basis of violence, exclusion and precariousness.
