More specifically in Lima, in the region of Cusco and Apurimac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9J7JdCoZZC0?rel=0?ecver=1\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>This documentary is linked to the more complete educational file \u201c\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justicepaix.be\/en\/gold-at-all-costs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gold at all costs<\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The documentary addresses the role of mining activity in Peru and its impacts on local populations. Peru relies largely on the extraction of mineral resources as the engine of its development. But at what cost ? Are the balance of power balanced between local communities, businesses and the State?
