Commemoration and its role in the fight against impunity and Reconciliation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The news from the DR Congo and its eastern region confronts us almost every day with reports of killings, violence against civilians, looting and destruction. The persistence of the conflict, which was believed to be nearing an end, is preventing the region from recovering.<\/p>\n<p>However, to escape the repetition of this violence, we must support the population in making decisions about the future they want. And for that, we must know not only the present, but also the past.<\/p>\n<p>The new Justice and Peace study deals with commemoration. The method followed consists of sharing experiences from Latin America, Europe and Africa to support civil society in the DRC.
