We offer you <strong>3 training sessions of 2 hours<\/strong> during which we will look at <strong>the challenges of memory work<\/strong> by focusing on Belgium&#039;s colonial past in Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carry out memory work on a conflict, recent or not, <strong>is crucial to consider the possibility of reconciliation, conducive to living together in a society.<\/strong> This approach is also applicable to situations such as the colonial past, which awakens deep-rooted wounds and <strong>questions our collective identity.<\/strong> Since memory plays an essential role in <strong>conflict prevention,<\/strong> talk about the past and deconstruct stereotypes in spaces of dialogue and using reading grids, all while keeping a <strong>critical perspective,<\/strong> sometimes helps prevent injuries from reappearing too suddenly.
